About Us

Gayle Permar has over 30 years experience in Architecture, graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1977 and licensed in California in 1985.  She has a diversity of experience in land development, offices, and multi-family mostly while employed in a large Marin County architectural firm.  In 1989 she started a family and her own firm in San Anselmo, California.  Gayle is an avid sailor and sailed the Pacific Cup to Hawaii before having children now 18, a son and 20, a daughter.  Her daughter Camille is a sophomore at Santa Barbara City College. 


Gayle is a member of Santa Barbara American Institute of Architects, Contractors Association, Architectural Foundation, Red Cross and a transfer from the Terra Linda Rotary to the Santa Barbara Rotary Club.  Gayle is a native San Franciscan who is a resident of both Santa Barbara and San Anselmo.  She opened an office in downtown Santa Barbara in 2008 to better serve her coastal California clients.
